What you'll need

50g DK ( Light Worsted Weight) Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook
Stitch Markers

Make Two

Foundation Row Chain 28, join in the round
Row 1 Ch 1, single crochet around, slip st into your ch 1 st
Rows 2 - 6 ch 1, Single crochet rib 2x2 (2 front post, 2 back post), slip st in your first single crochet
Row 7 Ch 1, single crochet 12, 2 single crochet in the next st, 1 single crochet in the next 2 sts, 2 single crochet in the next st, single crochet 12, slip st in your first single crochet (30)
Row 8 Ch 1, single crochet in each st around, slip st in your first single crochet

Rows 24 - 26 Ch 1, single crochet around, slip st in your first single crochet

Cut yarn and fasten off.

Reattach yarn for the thumb

Row 1 Ch 1, single crochet 2tog, single crochet 12, single crochet 2tog, slip st in your first single crochet (14)

What You'll Need

4 mm Crochet Hook
50g DK (Light Worsted Weight)Yarn
4 pipe cleaners 30 cm each approx

The Heart ♥

Foundation row Ch 20, slip to join in the round, ch 1
Rows 1-56 In the same st as your ch 1, 1 half double crochet, 1 half double crochet in each stitch around, slip into your first half double crochet (20)

Fasten off.

Get your pipe cleaners and pair them up so now you have 2x60 cm pipe cleaners, twist the ends together. Insert them inside and hold them at each end while you stuff it with filling. Leave the open ends free of filling

Fold your work in half (at around the 28th row), then fold in the opposite direction to create the arches of the heart.Bring the open ends down to the bottom and sew in place. If your pipe cleaners are long you can either cut them off or fold them into the opposite opening.

If you have strong pipe cleaners your heart shape should hold if not you may want to double up or re-shape your heart and sew it in place.
