What you'll need
Yarn
A pair of needles
Cable Needle
*Note* If you're not following a pattern and you are new to knitting cables make sure you have knitted a few rows before cabling and make sure you have a few purl sts on either side.
Cables require an even number of stitches
Abbreviations
CB6 - Cable 6 sts back. You will work 3 sts at a time. If the number changed to CB4, then you will cable 4 sts back but you will work with 2 sts at a time.
CF6 - Cable 6 sts front. You will work 3 sts at a time. If the number changed to CF4, then you will cable 4 sts back but you will work with 2 sts at a time.
CF6- slip 3 sts on to cable needle and hold to front of work. knit 3 sts from LH needle. Knit 3 sts from cable needle
